Texas to see changes in dates, regulations for 2025-26 hunting season. Here’s what to know

Extended Digital License Options
According to TPWD, for the first time,NT will offer completely digital license options for all entertainment hunting, fishing and combo license and label types.

Changes for non -resident hunters
According to TPWDThe legislation increased the simplified license options for hunters who were not built in this spring in two license options.
Crocodile, wild turkey, pronghorn, bigorn sheep, mule deer and white -tailed deer, including any legal birds or game animals hoping to harvest the residents who hope to harvest a non -resident hunters will be required to purchase a non -established general hunting license.
Exotic animals, small game birds (except for wild turkey), non -game animals, fur animals, non -resident hunters who plan to target the squirrel and Javelina for five or less days will need to purchase a special 5 -day small game/exotic hunting license.
Regulation Changes

For the wild turkeys in Hill County, the IH35E is now serving as the region border line.

Lubbock County is now open to wild turkey hunting with the regulations of the northern region.

The increase in the daily bag border for north pintails in all duck regions.
