The best tips for finding supermarket bargains: readers share their Lidl and Aldi secrets

ASUDI lost his crown as the cheapest supermarket of England Independent Readers praised their closest opponent, Lidl was greeted as the new budget champion.

Several commentators, especially close to the expiration time, fresh foods, knowledgeable shoppers for a portion of the price of the price of the freezers stressed that the stressed. “Real savings are here,” he said.

Others praised Lidl’s simple offer – reliable low prices in “superior” fruits and vegetables.

Still, there were grip. While the payment rate was seen as a bonus by many, others found self -control machines and customer service missing.

However, some shoppers adopted a more selective approach. Orum I get the best of each of them, ”he wrote, one Lidl, Aldi, and explained how they combined Farmfoods on a single journey.

In general, the emotion was clear: Lidl is doing something right. Here is what you have to say:

Lidl discounts make a difference

Sint Geezer is here … Not to be a factor, Lidl’in 20 percent of fresh food prices, then 50 percent of a person and a person’s ASDA, Tesco and Sainsbury’s prices will allow to stock the freezer for some of the prices.

My local Sinsburys also reduce products to 50 percent, but they are very hit and missed when they will do, and dependent on the manager (a few extremely tight).

I can’t be uncomfortable with big supermarkets

We make all our shopping at the cooperative. It has excellent brands and members discounts. If you spend the petrol station in a certain amount of stores, it gives liter 10p.

I can’t be uncomfortable with the big supermarkets – there is more than wasting thirty different types of dried beans or sink paper in life than to waste one afternoon.

Best in both worlds

In my town, both Lidl and Sinsbury is almost side by side, so comparison is easy – and I get the best of both worlds with both discount cards.

Lidl’s vegetables looks much more plasticized and packaged. Each broccoli weighed handle is full of vacuum, the sainsbury’s fresh from the chest and you choose your size.

Mostly, Lidl is always inadequate and high personnel turnover should show something negative.

Branded products are usually equal to Sinsbury’s and are sometimes more expensive. I am lucky to have my time to choose and mix, but I always feel that Sainsbury’s fresh meat and his own label are more likely to be English than the Lidls.

Selective Cooperative Shopping

It depends on what you buy. Although the cooperative is expensive, member prices and offers are often very competitive. I shop for some things there, but I’m quite selective about what I bought.

Free Market in the Workplace

The free market works well except in cases where supermarkets get more sites than they need. But in general, if you live in a suburb, you will have a wide range of food stores.

Locally, I have an ALDI and I get tesco deliveries for a wider product range-I live in a second floor apartment without an ascendant, so it is a nice bonus to deliver to the door.

Good to have diversity

Lidl and Aldi, too much when it comes to cost. However, the quality of ALDI with most goods is superior. However, some LIDL elements are better quality.

I mean, I mostly shop at ALDI; Sometimes shop in Lidl, but also – because they are close – to Tesco and Sainsbury’s. If I feel luxury and siphon, I’m going to Waitrose. Obviously it is nice to have all the diversity.

Decision -making factor parking

The price difference between Lidl and Aldi is so small – and Waitrose differences are so big – it doesn’t matter if you shop at Lidl or ALDI. I shop in both.

Factor that decides for me. The parking lot in Milton Keynes is a tremendous retail center parking lot. Lidl parking is next to the store and has an extra area between cars, so you can easily access and open the car door.

Lidl dropped me

When Lidl dropped their full croissants and removed the bread slicing machines, they dropped me. I was both extra 15 minutes for both (and the rest of my food). But not anymore.

Finished

In a small town in France, I live with organic food shop twice a week, where many benches are local farmers and local products selling local products. I noticed how the inhabitants of the UK are usually processed and unhealthy and how much they are marketed to become TAT consumers.

Big Lidl Fan

Payment in Lidl is easy; I shift everything in the car and put it in the car. Do not hold them behind you – this is unfair.

I am a big Lidl fan. I think Aldi is a bit too ambitious as if it could be. In addition, only 15 minutes after our rural location has a new Lidl.

Fruit and vegetables are offered by large supermarkets and have a much superior quality for less cost.

Still, I rarely get something in elimination. I see what is presented, but occasionally, except for the cute toy, I don’t really see anything I really want.

Yeah, I’m a Lidl fan. In addition, food store (have you seen the net elections?).

I am not a fan at all

The quality of fruit and vegetables changes a lot from the ground, as in different stores. I see that the best fruit and vegetables (near me) tend to be in Morrison and Sainsbury’s … But that doesn’t mean that it is everywhere. A lot depends on the clock of the day and those who stay on the shelves …

I’m not a fan of any supermarket, but that doesn’t mean I don’t use them.

I choose the best of each of them

There are both Lidl and Aldi in my nearest town and I love both. Coffee, ice creams, high fruit ratio protection, chocolate, cat food, lidl for olive oil.

Keep Aldi’s fruit and vegetables better and longer. I love Mourdough Observation (Frozen Pizza), Bread (Lidl Seed Nut Mashy), Meat, Flavored Swimwear and Dog.

Farmfoods in front of my Lidl road, so all frozen frozen fruits and vegetables from there, plus my mixed frying, kebab shop style pepper and mint, creamy garlic sauce – all about 1 £ I get a super fan sauces such as sweet pepper. And their frozen blinds are beautiful with large pieces of real meat.

When I shop every three weeks, it takes age when visiting all three shops for different things. I choose the best of each of them.

Lidl staples are always in stock

I go to Lidl as well as I am with me. What I love is that they hold the same staple all year round. So if you tend to buy some of the same things every week, it’s a bonus. Just a few weeks later, it’s not like some supermarkets that reduce certain lines. “They were here last week” comes to mind.
