Fearne Cotton reveals she’s not sleeping well and admits her brain ‘feels wobbly’ just days after her paedophile ex-boyfriend Ian Watkins was killed behind bars

Fearne Cotton has revealed she was having trouble sleeping just days after her pedophile ex-boyfriend Ian Watkins was murdered in prison.
Podcaster Fearne, 44, and Ian dated briefly in the early 2000s before their horrific crimes came to light. He has never made any public comments about his relationship with her.
Last weekend the former Lostprophets singer was killed behind bars after serving 29 years for a string of child sex crimes.
The former pioneer’s throat was reportedly slit by a fellow prisoner after the prisoners were released from their cells in the morning.
Following his death, Fearne admitted her brain was ‘feeling shaky’ as she shared a reflective Instagram video in which she spoke about shame and other issues on Tuesday.
The television personality wrote the following in the title of his post: ‘Four life lessons from this week. I can’t sleep well.
‘My brain is a little shaky at the moment, but I’m learning the lessons life throws my way. Which of these concerns you the most or seems true?’
Fearne Cotton, 44, revealed she was trying to sleep in a candid Instagram post on Tuesday, just days after her pedophile ex-boyfriend Ian Watkins was murdered in prison.
Fearne and Ian were together briefly in the early 2000s before their horrific crimes came to light. She has never publicly commented on her relationship with him (they were photographed together in 2004)
Fearne said in the video: ‘Here are four things I learned this week. The first one was from the Happy Place podcast where I talked to Charlie Mackesy, who talks a lot about shame, and I really appreciated that.
‘And the one thing I remember from that episode was that most of us feel shame but we assume it’s just us because that’s what shame does. He just wants you to believe it’s you, but it’s not…’
Her close friend Holly Willoughby reached out and commented: ‘I love you cottonchop.’
On October 11, it was reported that Ian’s throat was slit by a fellow inmate after the inmates were released from their cells this morning.
Emergency services rushed to Wakefield Prison in West Yorkshire but the sex offender’s life could not be saved.
The 48-year-old man was sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison for a series of sexual offenses against children, including the attempted rape of a fan’s young daughter.
The former rock singer is one of the most well-known prisoners killed in a British prison.
Watkins is said to have bled to death after his jugular vein was cut. On Saturday, two men, aged 25 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Fearne also admitted her brain was ‘feeling shaky’ as she shared a reflective video about shame and other issues following his death.

Last weekend former Lostprophets singer Ian was murdered behind bars where he was serving 29 years for a string of child sex offences, his throat reportedly slit by a fellow inmate.
In 2013, Watkins was sentenced to consecutive terms of 14 and 15 years in prison for sexual intercourse with a child and attempted rape of an 11-month-old baby.
He was also convicted of 11 other offenses at Cardiff Crown Court; These sentences are in addition to his 29-year sentence.
The two defendants, known as Mother A and Mother B, who were the parents of the children he attacked, were also sentenced to 14 and 17 years in prison, respectively.
While the immoral singer tried to rape a fan’s daughter, he encouraged another to molest his own child in the camera chat.
During the hearing, it was heard that a woman offered her ‘summer child porn’, to which she replied: ‘Yes, baby’.
Christine Laing QC, representing Woman B, also told the court Watkins told her client: ‘You and your daughter belong to me now.’
It is also understood the jailed sex offender is ‘very tech-savvy’ and his collection of child abuse images and photographs amounts to 27 terabytes of data.
The scale of the collection dwarfed that of South Wales Police’s own data warehouse, which was five times larger than that of the force, which at the time had 2,862 police officers and 1,631 support staff.
One terabyte can store up to 472 hours of broadcast quality images or approximately 150 hours of HD video.
Eventually, experts from GCHQ, the UK government’s intelligence centre, were brought in to decrypt the encrypted files on his computer.
The pedophile vehemently denied the allegations against him before changing his plea to guilty at the last second.
In mitigation, his defense argued that his use of crack cocaine and crystal meth meant he could not remember the ‘productive abuse’.
