Prince William’s ‘explosive fights’ with King Charles over Andrew revealed for the first time
The Prince of Wales allegedly “fought” with his father King Charles because he “challenged” his approach when it came to dealing with his disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
William was allegedly angry that Charles invited Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to spend Christmas with the Royal family at Sandringham in 2023.
But he was said to have been “put in his place” by his father and decided not to provoke him further.
The future King has always made objections to the disgraced uncle, including before and after his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview in 2019.
“William’s negative view of his uncle Andrew had begun before the Duke of York’s fall from grace. The Prince of Wales had questioned over the years what benefit his uncle would bring to the wider operation,” Mr Myers writes in his book.
“’Long before we got involved in the scandal [involving Virginia Giuffre and Jeffrey Epstein]A palace source revealed that he always thought his uncle was a bit ignorant. ‘What is he actually doing?’ “he would ask the question.

It caused a bombshell when it was revealed that Prince William ‘tried to exile Andrew in 2019’
William’s initial efforts to exile Andrew came in 2019 after his uncle failed to appear on the BBC and apologize for his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Prince was married to his father, the then-Prince Charles, and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. It was said that Elizabeth struggled to emphasize how important it was for him to take action against the embarrassed Andrew.
The author writes: “The interview was a disaster not just for Andrew, whose reputation was damaged, but for the monarchy generally. Suddenly, the palace was thrown into full-scale conflict, with deepening questions about its relevance to the modern world and even its very survival.”
“Afterwards, William spoke to his father and begged him and the Queen to take immediate action, as he feared not only the public reaction but also his own future.
“A source said: ‘It’s very easy to put yourself in William’s shoes when you understand the fact that everything that happens here and now affects everything in the future, namely William’s future. “He never really liked his uncle very much and immediately wanted him out of the picture before the rot went any further.
“’William’s view was that [Andrew] He got himself into this mess, so he has to figure it out on his own, away from the family.’”

Furious William wants Andrew exiled forever – ‘A stain on the Royal Family’
The book also reveals the heir’s true feelings about his disgraced uncle. In the book, it is claimed that William saw Andrew as “a stain on the whole family”.
A palace source close to William said: “The Prince of Wales was adamant throughout the entire incident [the Epstein revelations] He was never going to leave, and there was absolutely no advantage in protecting Andrew, despite what others felt.”
The book claims: “His view was very clear that Andrew should not be near the family under any circumstances, not through association, at family events, or anywhere.
“When a new revelation came out that no one knew when it would come or what the next one would be, it was a stain on the whole family.”
Prince William and Princess Kate ‘fully united’ over Andrew’s complete removal from the Royal Family
William is also said to be “in sync” with his wife, Princess Catherine, regarding relations with Andrew.
An extract from the book read: “At every Balmoral reunion or Christmas trip that arose, the King or William were asked questions about how close Andrew really was.
“Did he think that if the Royal Family stayed quiet or kept him close it would all be over? William and Catherine never saw it that way.”
The book also states that Andrew’s lack of responsibility for his repeated denials of any wrongdoing was “extremely important” to William and Catherine’s relationship with him.
