The case of Ismail v Queensland is going to make some laws

Remah Naji is a Palestinian-Australian, the daughter of a refugee and the lead organizer of Justice for Palestine Magan-djin (JFP), the main activist group in Queensland for the Palestinian cause. He and six other brave plaintiffs are fighting the state in the High Court of Australia.

The case is a constitutional challenge to a colorful law introduced by Queensland’s Crisafulli government in March. Amendment to the Law on Combating Antisemitism and Keeping Weapons Out of the Hands of Terrorists and Criminals.
