The incredible world’s tallest bridge that’s opening this month | World | News

The world’s highest bridge successfully completed the last load test before the end of September. The Huajiang Great Canyon Bridge in Guizhou, southwest of China, has shown 2.050 feet above the Eiffel Tower twice twice the height and almost twice twice the length of the piece. This record -breaking bridge, also called the world’s crack “, will cut off the towns of Liuzhi and Anlong and Guanling and Zhenfeng districts on the Beipan River and travel times from two hours to two minutes.
On certain days, drivers passing the bridge can literally pass through the clouds and offer one of the most natural and surreal drivers on the planet. Huajiang Great Canyon Bridge is not the highest bridge in the world, but also the world’s largest mountain bridge opening.
Building a bridge was not a simple project. He had to rely on the intense valley winds, temperature fluctuations and steep canyon walls built in one of China’s most geologically complex regions.
The construction started in January 2022 and took more than three and a half years to complete.
The design is a hybrid bridge reinforced with a large 22,000 -ton steel cage system supported by two enormous tower, one with a height of 262 meters and the other 205 meters.
Advanced wind resistance technology, thermal expansion materials and monitoring systems are built to provide long -term structural stability.
Before meeting the traffic, the bridge had a five -day meticulous load test in August. To test stress, hardness and general structural integrity, 96 full -loaded truck fleets with more than 3,300 tons were applied from the bridge in various patterns.
The sensors placed along the bridge follow the performance followed under simulated traffic conditions. The bridge has passed every test, confirmed that it meets all national security and performance standards and opened its way by the end of September.
This means that the new Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge will pass the highest bridge of the world, which has not been far away before.
The Duge Bridge in China’s Guizhou province rises more than 565 meters of the Nizhu River and stands as a remarkable success of modern engineering.
