Indian conglomerate to set up multi-specialty hospital & medical university in Kazakhstan

The ambitious project will be 243 hectares of 100 hectares in Astana and Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan. It envisages a comprehensive health and training ecosystem, including a university that can host 10,000 students, a high -tech hospital and a five -star hospitality facility.
Mont Vert Group, an experienced Pune -based real estate developer, will be the pioneer construction. For proposed infrastructure, the land was allocated by the Kazakh government in October 2024, reflecting the commitment of foreign investment to health and higher education sectors. The completed facility is expected to be a major medical and training center for Kazakhstan and neighboring Central Asian countries.
This development opposes the ground of growing medical connections between India and Kazakhstan. In recent years, India has emerged as the best place for medical tourists from Kazakhstan and offers advanced and affordable treatments in areas such as cardiology, orthopedics, oncology and organ transplantation.
The new medical university and the hospital project not only serve the local population, but also aim to reduce the dependence on a ongoing medical journey by providing international quality maintenance in the region. It also opens ways for academic change and vocational education and strengthens ties to people between the two countries.
As the global focus focuses on health diplomacy and cross -border cooperation, the initiative is a proof of India’s increasing role in shaping health and education architecture in Central Asia.
