Former Conservative leader Liz Truss promises to defend Western civilization and trigger a “Trump-style counter-revolution” against attacks on the free world in her new show on social media

Ms Truss, who spent just seven weeks in office before being sacked by her own MPs in 2022, was forced to deny she was Britain’s worst prime minister.

Under his leadership the pound fell to a 37-year low after the City was “scared off” by a massive borrowing package to finance its biggest tax cuts for half a century.

As pressure mounted, Ms Truss and the chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng, abandoned plans to scrap the 45p income tax rate for top earners. He left No 10 soon after.

He has repeatedly attacked the “deep state” last year, claiming it was sabotaging efforts to cut taxes.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in the US, he called on Elon Musk and his “geek army of Muskrats” to investigate the “British deep state”.

He claimed Britain needed its own version of Donald Trump and called for a movement like the Maga movement in the UK, saying change was being blocked by an intransigent bureaucratic structure.

His new show promises commentary on “the crisis of free speech and economic stagnation,” as well as mass immigration, global instability, and “the cultural wars reshaping the West.”

The filmmakers say it “confronts issues that others have tiptoed around.”

Ms Truss said: “People in Britain, America and the free world are tired of being humiliated. They are tired of experts who get it all wrong, elites who refuse to listen and weak leaders who do not defend Western values.”

“In 2022, I was sacked as prime minister for trying to save Britain from the cycle of disaster we were in. I was blamed for a market crisis that was not my fault… It is time to step back, speak out and defend the ideas that built Britain and can rebuild it.”
