‘And now I sing the song [once unmasked]I didn’t realize I had to do this… Singing the song without a mask was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in my life and I went through quite a lot of difficulties.
‘But it was great fun, really fun. Nonsense. I made a commitment that if I was going to do this, I would go 100%. I don’t do things by halves and I think I’ve achieved my goal.’
Marvin, 40, admitted: ‘I’m used to being with three people on stage and it’s quite comforting. Some security. Even though I was fully masked, it was pretty weird singing outside by myself. I enjoyed it and even with the mask removed I thoroughly enjoyed it.
‘So for me it was nice to do something on my own when it came to singing. When is the group? [JLS] I finished it, I’ve never actually done solo music like this so yeah, it was really cool.’
