President Donald Trump says he has no idea who the money laundering billionaire he pardoned really is. Trump last month pardoned Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, who pleaded guilty to money laundering violations that allowed criminal groups to move money linked to drug trafficking and child exploitation. The pardon comes just months after crypto exchange Binance struck a $2 billion deal in partnership with the Trump family’s crypto venture World Liberty Financial.
