Finn, a round, bright color of a small, white, tea bag -like sac and places between the upper lip.

He and his wives use nicotine bags up to vomiting, he says.

The power of nicotine – in a bag of 150 mg – is enough to “immobilize” them – especially when they use two or three at a time.

“Burn at first,” he explains 17 -year -old. “You feel this burning sensation against your gums, and then you get hit.”

The Hit says it is much stronger than any cigarette, and often herself and her friends will reach out to the pouch, hidden under their lips.

Finn tells me how easy they use; They don’t stand that much that they even use them at school.

“I sat in the classroom before and had one that was so strong in my mouth, I was everywhere, or he says. “I was sweating, spitting and fighting to concentrate.”

Finally, his teacher realized that he looked “bright green” and made his excuses and bolted from the mathematics class.

Finn is not proud of just wanting us to use his name. In fact, he says he regrets using bags. Now he sees himself as an addict and wants to warn others.

“I’m bored of Vaping and now I’m stuck.”

Increased number of young nicotine bags use – some of them exchange vaping or smoking, others for the first time nicotine.

The figures seen by the BBC News show that there is an increase in about four floors in the UK between the ages of 16 and 24, and less than 1% in 2022 and up to 3.6% in 2024.

The bags are widely sold in online, supermarkets and corner shops. They come in exotic flavors with nicotine forces ranging from 1.5 mg to 150mg claims for a more “excessive” experience at a price of £ 5 for 20 packages.

Everyone can buy them. There is no minimum age such as cigarettes, vaps and alcohol. There is no restriction on the strength of nicotine in the bags.

“I heard how to connect children under the age of 11 or 12 to shops.”

He says that the establishment of the nicotine bags were sold to children and received an increasing number of reports from parents and teachers.

“It is incredibly annoying that there is nothing we can do to prevent them right now.”

What are the nicotine bags?

  • They are also known as white snus, contain nicotine from tobacco leaves, sodium carbonate, delicacies and sweeteners
  • They usually have a high pH value, the component sodium carbonate has an effect, which allows nicotine inside the pouch to penetrate the soft primer faster and enter the bloodstream, which causes stronger nicotine strokes

Ms. Pike invites the government to prioritize the tobacco and Vapes bill, which will make it illegal to sell these bags below 18 years of age.

“We must take action against those who deliberately or attached to a highly addictive product against those who attempted intentionally or surprisingly.”

Although it contains a large amount of medication, there is no need to show the warning of “This product contains a highly addictive substance” in the packaging of nicotine bags.

The City Trade Standards Port team seized a Van load consisting of 66,000 tubs of nicotine bags targeted for England in February 2025

If there are more than 16.7 mg nicotine in the bags, under the general product safety regulation, there should be a skull and cross -bone symbol in the packaging and a list of chemical components written in English.

Pike says that this regulation is increasingly reflected and that trade standards of trade standards have taken over thousands of illegal products throughout the UK.

The bags are significantly more harmful than cigarettes and chemicals may carry less risks than ferries, as they do not enter the lungs.

Harry Tattan-Birch, a senior researcher from the University of London, says that the bags are the “least harmful way” to swallow nicotine.

“If people had been used to stop smoking or to stop the vaping, they could have a positive public health effect – but if they were used only by those who want to leave, it would be positive for the first time, not those who tried nicotine.”

Although they can carry less health risk than cigarettes and ferries, there are cardiovascular risks for people who use high amounts of nicotine bags – and there is increasing concern about the damage caused by nicotine bags to the gums.

Finn has been using bags for more than a year and says that he has reached a point where his mouth is torn apart in lice “and he pee over once” [his] gum closed “.

Dr Patric Saraby, a Swedish dentist based in Bournemouth, has treated patients with nicotine pouch users with gum lesions so deeply that it is possible to see the root of the tooth.

“The long -term damage of these products is extremely worrying,” he says.

One of his patients, a 23 -year -old student began to develop lesions on the gums while working for exams. He used five pouchs a day to help him quit Vaping and to help him focus on his work.

“It started as a recreational thing, but it was quickly held,” the student says. “Part of my gum – where I placed the pouch – I was worried when I got out.”

Now, nicotine -free and gums start to heal after leaving vaping and bags eight months ago.

Dr. Saraby, localized gum disease and localized bone loss risk is increasing, he says.

The original, tobacco -based Snus’s home, the “Nicotine Running Usage Tide Wave” is concerned that he will soon hit England. There, 25% of children between the ages of 16 and 29 see users and dentists, sometimes for years, the number of patients with painful inflammatory patients for months to heal has increased.

A five -year study at the University of Gothenburg has just launched why White Snus has left such a damage compared to tobacco -based products.

Dr. G G Gale, a expert who leads to work in oral medicine, says how little it is known about the long -term consequences of its use, and says how many people use this product.

The government said that the “turning point” tobacco and Vapes Bill will prohibit the sale of nicotine bags under the 18s, which are currently setting off from the House of Lords, and that Vapes and Nicotine products are deliberately promoted and preventing advertising to children.

“The new generation will stop connecting to nicotine and end the cycle of dependence and disadvantage.”

Finn says most of his schoolmates pass from vaping to nicotine bags. He did the same thing, but he feels he has enough and tries to cut it.

“The only thing I could think of how much I needed – it was too much,” Finn says. “It is much more difficult for Snus to kick it than Vaping.
