Overlooked for NRL Grand Final despite strong season

A young Taltly, trained in Muswellbrook, would start driving for two hours to study at Newcastle with his family four times a week, and eventually led to the honor of the young representative.

Taltly, “I always wanted to play a ragbi league when I was a child, but for the first time when I stepped into a representative program I was 15 years old and ‘I really want to be a NRL player’ I said.

“It took some time to come here, but … I’m very grateful for that.”

Many talented players moved directly from high school to distinguished systems, waited for Taltly – moved to North Sydney Bears, where he balanced the Rugby League with a business student.

In the midst of the 85 new South Wales Cup match for the club, last summer, he had the opportunity to complete a clue before the season and resulted in a trial attempt against Warriors.

He had a chance to go to Brisbane from Taltly’s chance until June.

Until the end of 2026, Maguire presented him a train and trial agreement that led to a two -year full -time contract.

“I thought that something could come from him potentially, and then they wanted me to start training the next Monday. I took everything and came directly, Talt says Taltly.

“HE [Maguire] I just liked the way I was attacking. My statistics went through with me and what I had to work on to become a Nrl player.

“He had knowledge about me, and he just asked me to believe what I did and support myself.”

Who will be among the digesters?

Although Taltly is named on the expanded list of Broncos, its rise is not less evidence of its decision.

Among the most successful ones, follow the footprints of others who support their time – Jamal Fogarty, Cody Walker and Broncos teammates Josiah Karapani and Gehamat Shibasaki.

Taltly has a message for those who follow their childhood ambitions – “All Opportunity”.

“You should just put yourself in place. I made a promise outside the season; I wanted to stay in the form of the best possible position to stay in the form and force myself for a nrl point, or he says.

“It requires a difficult job. You can’t just say it’s hard, you have to make yourself difficult.”
