Child seriously injured, woman hurt in crash on Belgravia Street, Cloverdale near Miles Park soccer training

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital following a horrific crash in Perth’s east on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the accident on Belgravia Street in Cloverdale at around 4.30pm, when a child and a woman were hit by a car.

The collision, which occurred near Miles Park where football training was held, blocked the road as St John ambulance crews worked to help two injured people.

The child was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital under lights and sirens, while the woman was taken to Royal Perth Hospital in a stable condition.

The child’s condition is unknown at this stage.

“I saw officers tackle a little kid and it was pretty awful,” an eyewitness told 7News.
