The highest train station in the UK is the most distant of the UK at an incredible height at a height of 1,338 feet above sea level. Along the breathtaking West Highland line on the Scottish Plateau, Corrour Train Station was even in Trainspotting. Caledonia serves many Scottish destinations, including Fort William, Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The station is also included in the Corrour field, which belongs to Lisbet Rausing, which covers 57,000 acres of Highland Wilderess and acquired property in 1995.
Corrour was subjected to comprehensive afforestation and re -winding efforts. In order to promote natural regeneration, the number of deer has been reduced and domestic tree species are re -planned in areas dominated by non -mother tongue cones.
The peat is also restored and the wild life, such as red squirrels, hedgehogs and hunting birds, returns.
Real Estate developed four hydroelectric schemes, which produced about 3,500 houses for Corrour via clean energy and national network.
