The Wisconsin woman hired to kill in Birmingham, UK

BBC News, West Midlands
PoliceWe, Aimee Betro, was found guilty of trying to hit a dead man in the United Kingdom. However, the investigation into the native Wisconsin revealed that it was almost “without exception” without a “criminal footprint”. And it is not clear why it has become a contract killer.
Six years ago, on an autumn night, Betro pointed to Sikander Ali in a suburban Cul-de-Sac with a 9 mm gun and pulled the trigger as he was hired.
But instead of shooting, the gun stuck – saved the man’s life.
He marked the middle of a more suitable land for a television drama, and at the end a few years later, and a land that ended thousands of miles away with Betro’s arrest in Armenia.
However, in 2019, he started in an outfit shop in Birmingham’s screed rock a year before shooting.
PoliceIn 2018, Muhammad Aslam and his son Mohammed Nabil Nazir was injured during a fight in a shop owned by Mr. Aslat Mahumad, the father of Mr. Ali.
The conflict filed a violent lawsuit between families, heard Birmingham Crown Court, which was “Nazir and Aslam clearly directed to conspiracy to kill someone’s original Mahumad or a member of his family.”
According to Det Ch Insp Alastair Oencas, the West Midlands police police police, the couple of Derby returned to Betro, an unknown woman in the United States or anywhere.
“[She was] A very ignorant individual, “he said.” [but] Ugly, daring and ready to make a permanent murder. “
PoliceBetro, A graduate of a childhood development and graphic design from Western Allis, USA, came to England in August 2019 to realize Aslam and Nazir’s Vendetta.
The court heard that he had previously met Nazir through a dating application and that London was lying with him in an Airbnb in Kings Cross during his visit to England between December 2018 and January 2019, but remained uncertain how he was hired to shoot.
The jury members stayed at hotels in London, Manchester, Derby and Birmingham before the attack on September 7, and met their common conspiracies.
This included an incident three days before the murder attempt when the images on Nazir’s phone were fired and stuck.
Closure of the house
On the day of shooting, Betro, a summer dress, hood and flip -flops, bought a second -hand Mercedes from a garage under the name of Becky Booth.
Later on that day, the Nazir and originally “Scopeing” and “Driving in the convoy” were seen.
He then waited for his victim in a dead end and hid himself with a niqab, heard the jury members.
When Mr. Ali was withdrawn, he went out and fired the gun directly to him, but he didn’t discharge, he asked him to go back to his car and asked him to escape.
According to Det Ch in Orencas, the distance between the firearms and Mr. Ali meant that the chances of survival would be very little.
“It was an absolute pure chance that this did not reach its peak in a murder investigation.”
West Midlands PoliceBetro initially escaped from the scene, but immediately after midnight, he returned with a taxi and made three shots at the family house.
Prosecutors were in Manchester Airport until 13:30 and flew to the USA.
Days later, Nazir followed and according to Betro, he rented a double car and continued to Seattle in an amusement park, Nevada, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
He told the jury members that he did not know that there was a fire in Measham Grove and that he did not mention Nazir during his time in the states.
Betro and It was not only spread its common conspirators for a few years, but also prevented by their PANDEM and included in the FBI, the national criminal agency and the two United Kingdom Police Forces.
Finally, on the skirts of Yerevan in Armenia, a housing complex was watched and caught by the police before he was returned to England.
West Midlands PoliceFrom the beginning, Betro rejected his participation and said that the assassination attempt was at the corner of the hearing six minutes later, and he said that it was “all of a terrible coincidence”.
In fact, he claimed that he was the work of another American woman, who resembled him, uses the same phone and wears the same kind of instructors.
The jury members found almost 21 hours of negotiations with the majority decision to be guilty of the conspiracy for murder.
Det Ch Inspasas described Betro as “extremely dangerous and extremely motivated to cause the worst harm to people”.
The authority was not “handcuffs … madness”, but it was planned with others on the continents.
“According to me [she] He had a slightly problematic relationship with the fact that he was accused of being accused. “
When Betro was asked to be paid or his partner Nazir believes that he was acting from loyalty, the officer said: “We did not see evidence of payment.
“This is a partner who does something for another partner, yet there is no clear proof of this. I see this as a penalty association and a lethal plan.”
Aslam, 56 and 31 years old Nazir In November 2024, he was imprisoned for a conspiracy for the murder.
Betro will be sentenced to 21 August.
