New England Patriots v Seattle Seahawks time, teams, schedule halftime show, how to watch Australia
There wasn’t much to say about the halftime show ahead of this year’s Super Bowl, except that it was headlining Bad Bunny, of course. Details are scarce, other than the fact that the Puerto Rican sensation sings entirely in Spanish. There weren’t many details in the headlines, other than the White House’s meddling.
But the whisper behind the curtain is that the spectacular stage design has come together under the guidance of Latin-Australian design superstar Julio Himede, who has emerged as one of the most influential live event designers of his generation.

Himede was born in El Salvador, grew up in Australia, lived in Sydney, and graduated from our most prestigious drama school, the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). He designed the stage for Shakira. He has also designed events such as the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), the BRIT Awards and the BAFTAs.
Himede, founder of New York-based design firm Yellow Studio, designed the stage for the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool in 2023 and just last week designed the Grammy stage in Los Angeles. According to sources, he is hard at work on Bad Bunny’s halftime show this weekend.
We asked for official confirmation, but the organizers were hesitant. But the detail is very well written: Himede is Bad Bunny’s favorite guy; most recently appearing on the beach-inspired, high-energy set for Bad Bunny’s performance at the 2025 Latin Grammys.
“Every artist has a different story to tell,” Himede said New Wave Magazine he said in an interview last year. “Staying motivated comes from surrounding yourself with culture through music, passion, architecture, seeing exhibitions, traveling abroad and even seeing theater performances. This is where we gather ideas and motivation.”
