3 ULFA-I leaders killed in alleged drone strikes on Myanmar camps, India army denies involvement, here’s what we know so far

Ulfa-ı, led by Paresh Baruah, made a series of statements claiming that the Indian Army had made drone attacks on myanmar camps early in the morning.

The prohibited rebel group was reported to have been killed in Myanmar after three leaders (ULFA-I), independent of Ulfa (ULFA-I). The group claimed that the Indian army was behind the attacks, but the army rejected any participation.

The group’s testimony, which was quoted by a few northeast -based media organizations of the group, said, “While the last rituals of Nayan Asom were carried out, the missile attacks in which Ganesh Asom and Pradip Asom became martyrs were carried out. He also said that officers, cadres and even civilians were injured in strikes.

However, the Indian Army strongly rejected these claims.

Ulfa-ı is different from the pro-group factions and demand full independence for Assam.

Assam Prime Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state police were not included. “There was no strike from the lands of Assam,” he said, and added that the incident was closely observed and that more details are expected.
