While India is taking steps to modernize the paid system, this country is already far ahead.

The Indian government has declared a new Faster -based annual paid transition for private vehicle owners. According to reports, from August 15, 2025, this transition will cost 3,000 RS per year and allow non -commercial vehicles to be passed 200 times annually without additional fees. The aim is to make travel more smooth and more appropriate.

According to the Minister of Union Nitin Gadkari, this new system will reduce travel stress and save money. Normally, vehicle owners spend more than 10,000 RS a year, but with this transition, the cost will significantly drop to 3,000 RS. The transition is expected to benefit from the country -wide drivers.

The world’s fastest fee system

While India takes steps to modernize the paid system, countries like Norway are already far ahead. Norway is known to have the fastest and most advanced wage collection system in the world. Paid cabins, no queues and no need to slow down.

Instead, Norway uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology. The cameras mounted on highways catch the plate of any vehicle passing at full speed. The fee is then deducted automatically and a notification is sent to the vehicle owner’s account. This system is called Autopass and has been used since 1991.

Norway’s high -tech, zero -standing wage collection system inspired other countries. Singapore applied a similar system using cameras and sensors. South Korea also claims to have a fast paid system, but not as advanced as Norway’s. Japan’s system’s technology -friendly, the US is still relying on speed -limited wage systems.
