This county saw the highest rate of growth across metro Atlanta over the past year

The Metro Atlanta region won approximately 64,000 new calm and Forsyth and Cherokee districts directed growth by 2.4%.

In particular, Forsyth County has brought its population over 282,000 and saw an increase in 6,700 people.

This growth rate is significantly higher than the total growth rate of 1.2%of the region and emphasizes the attractiveness of the district.

Forsyth County is known for its low real estate taxes and family -friendly atmosphere, important shots for new residents.

Michael Fox, a resident who recently returned from Los Angeles to Forsyth district, appreciates the region’s mixture of rural and urban environments.

“I always wanted to go back here and be around the grandchildren. And Forsyth County was where we wanted to be, Fox said.

Fox goes back to his work in Lockheed-Martin in Marietta every day and takes advantage of the young energy of the district.

“Growing right. We wanted to be around a really growing community. I really easily access many things here,” he added.

Forsyth County’s low real estate taxes and family -friendly atmosphere are important shots for new residents.

The district has more land for development compared to areas close to the urban core that contribute to rapid growth.

“He still feels very rural at the northern end of the district, so there is definitely a Ying and Yang species,” Brown said.

While Forsyth County continues to grow, local leaders are taking measures to manage the influx of new inhabitants as they continue their attractiveness.

The combination of security, good schools and existing lands makes it an attractive place for both families and individuals.
