Powerboat driver dies after crashing into houseboat during race in Suffolk

A Powerboat Racer, a “Experienced and Popular, died after hitting a Houseboat when he was at a racing event.
Suffolk police said Powerboat’s driver, a man in his 50s, died on Thursday at the scene in Oulton Broad.
The force said no one was injured.
Circuit Powerboat Association (EBM), a powerboat racing authority, chose the driver in a statement as a 51 -year -old Brett Duncan on his Facebook page.
He said: ız As an experienced and popular member of the power booting community, we are shocked and upset because of the timeless passing of Brett, and our sincere thoughts and condolences with his family and friends in this tragic time.
“We would like to express our gratitude and gratitude to all event staff and emergency services to respond quickly and on time.
“Because of the ongoing nature of the investigation, there will be no other details currently published.
“We also demand that the family should be mourned.”
The authority said that the collision took place at 18.50 during a local race event.
