Trump grants Iran ‘request’ as he delays ‘power plant destruction’ | World | News

These remarks came after the United States sent Iran a 15-point plan for a peace agreement. At the White House Cabinet meeting, Trump’s special representative for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, confirmed that the USA sent Iran a “15-item action list that forms the framework of the peace agreement”.

The head of the UN agency responsible for monitoring civilian nuclear activities has condemned the latest military strikes near Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant.

Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, warned that such attacks “could result in a major radiological accident affecting a wide area in Iran and beyond.”

According to the IAEA, Grossi reiterated his call for maximum restraint, once again emphasizing his “deep concern” about the situation and the potential risks involved.

The most recent attack reported near the Bushehr nuclear power plant occurred last Tuesday, following an earlier incident confirmed by the agency on March 17. However, none of the attacks were reported to have damaged the facility.
