Three children in hospital after flat fire in Enfield

After a fire in a three -storey apartment block in Enfield, three children were hospitalized.
There were 10 firefighters at the scene near Maybury and approximately 70 firefighters North London on Monday morning. The roof of the Flats block and the second floor were destroyed in the fire.
When a resident of Vicky Gardner, who lived near the apartments, saw the fire and called the fire brigade, his dog was walking at 5.15.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed that three children were hospitalized with smoke inhalation and that the conditions of the MET police were considered life -threatening.
A London Ambulance Service Spokesman: “We sent our medical officer, an event intervention officer and dangerous space intervention team to the scene.”
A met police spokesman said the investigations were continuing and the police were working with the LFB to investigate the cause of the fire. They said there was no arrest right now.
This morning, a large traffic deduction has been reported in the area and the A10 to Hoe Lane is currently closed. London passengers were advised to avoid the region.
