Loan defaulter arrested, assets worth ₹7 crore seized

Cyber ​​crime police arrested fraudster Neelam Pavan Kumar, who took loans with fake documents and did not repay the loan for the last few years.

Pavan Kumar, a native of Gudur village in Krishna district, worked at e-Seva for a while. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP-Cyber ​​Crime) K. Krishna Prasanna said that the man opened fake accounts with fake identity cards, proof of residence and other documents.

The accused opened 26 accounts at Eluru Road, Gunadala and other branches of a private bank in Vijayawada and took loans worth ₹ 5.28 crore. Pavan Kumar is also wanted in other cases in Krishnalanka, Bhavanipuram, Bandar Two Town and Gudur police stations, Ms. Prasanna said.

The DCP said the police seized documents worth around ₹ 7 crore, a car, 122 grams of gold jewellery, 927 grams of silver jewellery, nine ATM cards and other valuables belonging to the accused and appreciated the police for arresting the fraudster.
