Three from AP killed in separate road accidents in Khammam district

A couple from Andhra Pradesh lost their lives in a tragic road accident when the car they were traveling in was hit by a speeding truck at Konijerla on the Khammam-Thalada highway in Khammam district in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased was identified as U. Veeraju (46) and his wife Veerashailaja (36), natives of Angara village in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
They were traveling to Hyderabad with their 15-year-old son when the accident occurred. The child was injured in his leg.
The truck driver was seriously injured due to the impact. Both of the injured were taken to a hospital in Khammam.
In a separate incident, a truck cleaner was killed when the truck overturned at a crossing in Vengannapeta village of Thallada mandal around Sunday midnight.
The victim was identified as Bodeshwara Rao (33), a resident of Anakapalli in Andhra Pradesh.
