Iran Plane Hit in US Strike Before India Aid Mission

NEW DELHI: Iranian officials claimed that a Mahan Air plane was damaged in a US airstrike on Iran’s Mashhad airport on Monday, potentially disrupting the mission to collect humanitarian aid to India.
It was reported that the plane is planned to fly to New Delhi this week to get the necessary medical supplies and aid to the Iranian people.
US officials have not yet confirmed the claim.
Iranian officials said that the plane was damaged after the US attack on Mashhad airport.
According to the information obtained, the plane was expected to arrive in New Delhi on April 1.
India sent its first shipment of medical supplies to Iran through the Iranian Red Crescent on March 18.
The Iranian embassy in New Delhi thanked the people of India for the assistance.
Mahan Air is a private Iranian airline that operates flights to many countries in West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia.
