Reform UK run council removes all trans books from children’s library section
Leader, a council run by the British, released all the books about transsexuals from children’s chapters in libraries.
Kemkaran, the leader of the City Council, said that the books in a task on social media will immediately enter into force in the “City Victory in City”.
Paul Webb, a member of the Cabinet for the communities and regulatory services in the council, said that he was trying to remove all the books after worried about my abdomen.
In a video published in X, he said: “recently, one of our libraries was contacted by a member of a worried people who found trans -ideological materials and books in the children’s section.
“I looked at this and that was the case. I gave an instruction to remove all of our libraries from the children’s section. They do not belong to the children’s part of our libraries.
“Our children do not have to say that they are born in the wrong bodies, and this will stop today.”
It is understood that the books will not be completely removed, but rather move to different sections in libraries.
Ms. Kemkaran added an article in X: “It is wrong to tell children that they are in the wrong body.”
Book at the center of the discussion titled Autistic trans life guide, “Gives all the tools and strategies they need to live as the best self to the autistic trans and/or non -binary adults, which are defined as a basic survival guide”.
It is not yet known which books will be removed and how the Council will classify what the “trans material” is.
Folkestone bookstone manager Erin Strawbridge, a LGBT+ bookstore in the district, said to BBC Radio Kent: “Censorship does not prevent people from learning information, but they send messages and say that they are not safe to the young people of the city and they do not meet LGBT or trans’lar.
“Only pushes children in the closet, worse mental health. He will only scare young people.”
The District Council is responsible for the library operated by 99 communities.
Kent District Council said in a statement, “The City District Council confirmed that children are not exposed to adult transsexual literature in our libraries and will not be exposed.
“The staff in the district of the district were asked to stock books in categories suitable for age, and to ensure that no adult literature should not move towards children for children, or to choose books such as public welcome screens.
“At the entrance of a library in the City, a public exhibition follows the feedback of a resident who sees a transgender book for adults. The book has been moved to a section that is not possible to be visited by children.”
Mr. Webb added: “Rightly, we put child protection and protection at the top of our list of priorities, such as all adults, especially those with public office.”
City Library Service confirmed that the personnel will “allow children to exhibit only age -appropriate books in the children’s sections” or that children will confirm the areas they will choose to borrow.
