Following the devastating impact of Cyclone Montha, Andhra Pradesh is unlikely to receive significant rainfall in its immediate wake.
According to the India Meteorological Department in Amaravati, the weather in most parts of the state is expected to remain largely stable for the next few days.
No significant weather forecast is expected for November 1, 2025 (Saturday) as the system has moved. From 2 November 2025 (Sunday), thunderstorm activities may gradually return, starting with isolated events in Rayalaseema and then extending to North Coast Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and South Coast Andhra Pradesh on 3 and 4 November.
These are expected to be accompanied by local thunderstorms and lightning. Widespread rainfall is not expected.
While the hurricane brought heavy destruction and rainfall to coastal areas, the post-hurricane period appears relatively calm; Only scattered thunderstorms are expected in parts of the state toward the end of the five-day outlook.
