PGA Tour golfer Kevin Kisner, who is Tiger Woods’ teammate in the Golf League, expressed concern for the golf legend following his drunk driving arrest in Florida on Friday.
Kisner described the incident while in the booth for NBC’s broadcast of the Houston Open on Saturday.
“It’s very disturbing. He was working really hard on his game, trying to practice and get back in shape,” he said, via Fried Egg Golf. “He signed up for the US Senior Open yesterday. He was trying to do whatever he could to come back and help our TGL team, get ready, hopefully try and play the Masters.

“I think it’s a really unfortunate incident Brad (Faxon), the only positive is that no one was injured in the incident and we can all move forward and help him recover.”
Woods returned to the Golf League for his first round of real competition as he underwent more surgery on his back and repaired a torn Achilles.
On Friday, Woods was involved in a rollover crash on Jupiter Island. He was later arrested for refusing to provide a urine sample. He was released from the Martin County Jail late Friday.
In the booking photo, Woods’ eyes appeared bloodshot as he wore a blue polo shirt. Woods was seen leaving the jail in the passenger seat of a black SUV after being released on bail late Friday, according to the Associated Press.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said at a news conference that Woods was traveling at a “high rate of speed” when his vehicle crashed into another car, resulting in his vehicle flipping over onto its driver’s side.
Authorities said Woods “exhibited signs of impairment.” He gave a “triple zero” for alcohol but refused a urine test.
“DUI investigators arrived on the scene and Mr. Woods showed signs of impairment. They performed various tests on him. Of course, he disclosed the injuries and surgeries he had undergone. We took that into account, but they did some in-depth roadside testing,” Budensiek added.
“We didn’t really suspect that alcohol was involved in this case, and that turned out to be true in prison… But when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis, he refused. And so he was charged with drunken driving for property damage and refusal to submit to legal testing.”
Woods was seen talking on the phone in dark blue shorts after the accident.
He has not commented on his arrest since the incident.
