Democrats release dozens of new images
washington: Congressional Democrats on Thursday released dozens of new images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein; This was the day before the U.S. Department of Justice was required by law to release declassified files on its investigation of the disgraced financier.
The last set of images includes close-ups of these sentences: lolitaa book about a man’s passion for a 12-year-old girl, scrawled in black ink over a woman’s body (chest, feet, neck and back); Redacted identity cards of women from Russia, Morocco, Italy, Czech Republic, South Africa, Ukraine and Lithuania; and a late-night text thread about shipping girls to someone identified as “j” for $1,000 each.

The 68 photos are among nearly 95,000 images that Epstein’s estate submitted to the House Oversight Committee.
Last week, Democrats on surveillance released 19 photos; Among them was a photo featuring now-President Donald Trump, who dismissed the images as “no big deal.”

Billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates, professor and political activist Noam Chomsky, and Trump’s former aide Steve Bannon are also featured in the latest images.
Committee Democrats said the images released Thursday “were selected to provide transparency to the public in a representative sample of the photographs” and “to provide insight into Epstein’s network and its highly disturbing activities.”
Democrats said there are thousands more images “both graphic and mundane” that they continue to analyze.
“Oversight Democrats will continue to release photos and documents from the Epstein estate to provide transparency to the American people,” said California Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee.
