Tilak Varma: Hyderabad’s latest cricket sensation

Recitation was born on 8 November 2002 in Haydarabad. His father, Nagaraju and his mother Gayatri giant, who worked as an electrician, supported his interest and ability in the jack despite scarce sources.

16 years old first class first output

At the age of 11, he caught the eye of Salim Bayash, who taught the ropes at the Legma Cricket Academy in Lingampally. This was his 22-year-old talent for Haydarabad at the 2018-19 Range Cup. Shortly after, he represented the state throughout the formats and listed the outputs of T20 (2019 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy) and one (2019 Vijay Hazare Trophy) in 2019.

The big break in his career was separated by 1.7 Crore to sign Mumbai Indians in the 2022 IPL auction. He made 397 runs in the hymen IPL campaign and has been developing since then. Along the way, he was even the first cricket player in the T20s who scored three centuries.

ODI output in 2023

Tilak also had an instant impact with India. He made his first release against the West Indian Islands in August 2023 and received the most points for India in this match (39). At the end of the series, it was India’s highest striker and was the second best Indian in the T20s. Later, ODI made its exit during the Asian Cup in September 2023.
