Provo, Utah – Charlie Kirk’s defendant assassin Tyler Robinson’a one of the biggest security deficits in the case, according to a leading Utah defense lawyer, the prosecution may be the timeline of the prosecution – and the defense finally expects the defense to drag up to a year before making a preliminary hearing.

Kirk, a 31 -year -old two -year -old father, was shot and killed on September 10 at 12:20 pm while talking at a Turning Point US event at Utah Valley University. It was the founder of the conservative group of conservative students, who had a national footprint and for the revival of youth support for the Republican Party.

“In this case, there is a lot we don’t know yet,” Skye Lazaro from Salt Lake City, Ray Quinney & Nebeker, said.

The defense doesn’t know much yet. The discovery process began on Monday with a five -day deadline for prosecutors to make their first statements, and Robinson’s team pushed back to renounce them for a month.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination leaves unanswered questions as they bring together gaps in case of inspectors.

Some evidence was made to the public in the news briefings, from the authorities or the charging documents made last week. Prosecutors, Robinson and his roommate and romantic partner Lance Twiggs between text messages between Kirk’s responsibility for the murder was allegedly responsible. However, they do not contain time stamps.

22 -year -old Robinson was arrested in his hometown in Southern Utah 33 hours after the murder. However, before that, it was claimed that the police returned to the scene where the suspect found the murder weapon, Fox News Digital first reported that the authorities did not clarify the timing of his encounter with a police officer deployed around him.

“If it is not logical, it may be bad for them,” Lazaro told Fox News Digital, “he said. He said.

He said that Robinson wanted to buy something that he left near a parking lot in the region, according to a law enforcement source – this is close to where the police found the rifle. This was immediately seen as suspicious because hundreds of people had left something to escape for security after the death of Kirk’s roughly 3,000 crowd. However, according to the source, the officer made a routine control of Robinson’s plate to which the authorities were defined as a potential suspect.

If Lazaro is not opened by the officer’s bodycam, it may be an opening for Robinson’s defense to try to make a hole in the investigation.

Lazaro said that additional details about the texts could harm Robinson’s defense more.

“Most of the time, Celbi mobile phone records are where messages are sent.” He said.

The court Celbi was sent from Robinson’s phone in Orem and his partner’s St. If he shows that he was taken by his phone in George, it will be compatible with the allegations of the prosecution.

“He will want to see defense, want to see, and probably spend a lot of time to get his own forensic medical experts or to do themselves to really bring a time schedule.”

Authorities said that Twiggs cooperated with researchers. However, the defense is expected to do their best to weaken the state’s case.

Lazaro, “they may be as damaging as they hear.” He said. “When the government wrote a possible reason, you should keep the biggest hits they have now.”

Lazaro said that the gaps in what the authorities explain to the public lead to online speculation, which would not provide much benefit to the defense.

Lazaro, “There are some conspiracy theories about … Another person wrote text messages or something was planted.” He said. “As a defense lawyer, if you certainly don’t know that such a thing happened and you can’t prove it, isn’t that the biggest defense? I think you tend to lose reliability as long as you can’t really confirm.”

Charging documents do not contain anything that the defense will try to use later. Therefore, they will seek these items in the discovery or in a preliminary hearing with the expression of witness, which will still be a way.

He hasn’t made an objection yet. At a waiver hearing on Monday, the court adopted two non -governmental lawyers to help Utah Public Defender Kathy Nester. Both Michael Burt and Richard Novak from California.

In the Utah district, where most of the inhabitants were members of the Church of Jesus Christ, their saints, and traveling as a part of the mission studies, he did not expect the gold state ties to be an obstacle.

“If you were called this case in Eastern Montana, I can say that having a big city lawyer is probably not useful, because people don’t like them to tell them what to do or say that they do their jobs or tell them that they are beating in their police.” He said. “I don’t think this will be a big problem here.”

In addition, experiences in defending capital cases in multiple states and federal levels show that they do not have to appear for the first time as a customer on behalf of a customer.

The Ministry of Justice has not yet announced the federal accusations, but it continues to be a possibility.

Nester asked the court to decide whether Robinson will force a preliminary hearing, which is a proof hearing that the case should show a possible reason in court before progressing.

Although Robinson’s defense will not expect the case at such a hearing, the defense may give the defense a better basis before the hearing-like a chance to see how well they perform under the intensive questioning of witnesses before trying.

Lazaro, “This possible reason is the most appropriate light for the state.” He said.

According to Lazaro, pre -hearings in Utah can be postponed for months and sometimes in cases with serious crimes for up to a year. Robinson is facing the accusation of aggravated murder, which has a death penalty and makes it as serious as he has taken.
