England win 2025 Rugby World Cup: Maggie Alphonsi on victory over Canada

Not all of Canada is professional and established a mass funding campaign before the tournament.
“England showed what to do if you want success. You need to invest in your women’s team,” Alphonsi said.
“This England’s side fought a lot for this moment. This World Cup was a great success – the standards set for women’s rugbi, not just the winner.”
