TMC Wants Infiltrators Saved For Votes

The chief minister also criticized chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s party for attacking the EC over SIR and supported the EC while addressing a massive BJP rally at the Brigade Parade, marking the culmination of the party’s ‘Parivartan Jatra’, after launching ₹18,600 crore of various central welfare projects, from infrastructure to transport, in the poll-bound state.
His scathing attack on the TMC for infiltration and open support for the SIR and the AK came after his indomitable legal fight against the TMC’s practice in the Supreme Court, which ordered the setting up of judicial tribunals to hear objections from the recently deleted voters and tasked the judiciary under the supervision of the Calcutta High Court to resolve 60.06 lakh cases of logical inconsistency ‘decided’ in a double blow to the EC.
Mr Modi claimed: “TMC is giving reservations to radicals and inviting spies to expand the criminal network. Roti, Beti and Mati have come under the greatest threat due to spies. Spies are grabbing jobs in Bengal. There is a threat to our daughters and sisters. Spies are being given rights to the lands here. The result is before everyone.”
He argued: “In the last decade, the demography of Bengal has changed. Bengali Hindus are being deliberately turned into a minority. Such a blatant appeasement game is being played! The entire TMC opposes the citizenship of Hindu immigrants, who have always considered undivided Bengal and India as their homeland. According to the TMC, vote bank is top of the priorities. They do not consider Hindus as vote banks because they do not expand their criminal networks.”
“That is why the TMC is opposing the SIR so that the names of the infiltrators should not be removed from the voter list and the list should not be purged. They are not even ready to delete the names of the dead from the list. The danger of demographic change has made Bengal unsafe. Now open threats are being made by a particular community to eliminate millions of Hindu Bengalis. How can someone with a constitutional position say this? This does not suit you. I want to know who they are,” the Chief Minister said. “People who can kill so many lives on TMC’s instructions?”
Standing by the EC, already in the eye of a storm over the SIR, he added, “They (TMC) always find ways to attack constitutional establishments. In the last few months, you have seen whenever the EC takes steps for fair polls and tries to purify the voters’ list, TMC attack it. Questions are raised on the credibility of an organization which is responsible for conducting the election impartially and independently. TMC is now trying to spread its anarchy to Delhi also.”
Mr Modi, however, did not miss the opportunity to fuel tribal sentiment against the TMC following the breach of protocol during President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Siliguri a week ago. “The TMC government has crossed all limits in insulting tribals. A few days ago, when the President came here to attend a Santhal event, ‘Nirmam Sarkar’ not only changed its venue but also dragged the program into mismanagement because TMC did not like to put Adivasi woman in the highest position. This is not only an insult to her but also to the constitution and its founder BR Ambedkar,” he said.
Giving confidence to the BJP’s victory in the upcoming Assembly elections to punish Ms. Banerjee’s party, the Chief Minister observed: “The countdown of TMC rule has begun. This time no one can save them. This poll will not only be a change in the government but will also save the soul of Bengal.”
