Trump Declares All Biden Autopen-Signed Documents, Including Pardons, ‘Null And Void’ | World News

Washington DC: US President Donald Trump declared that all official documents signed by his predecessor Joe Biden were automatically closed and “null and void and of no further force or effect”.
Autopen is a device used to precisely copy a person’s signature. Autopen has been used by both Republican and Democratic presidents in the past.
“All Documents, Declarations, Executive Orders, Memorandums or Agreements signed by the now infamous and unauthorized “AUTOPEN” Order under the administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr. are hereby null and void and of no further force or effect,” Trump said in a post on social media platform Truth Social. he said.

“To anyone who receives a ‘Pardon’, ‘Rejection’ or any other Legal Document signed as such, please note that such Document is completely and utterly terminated and has no Legal effect whatsoever. Thank you for your interest in this matter!” he added.
The US president has repeatedly claimed that Biden is unable to control the executive office, given his age and mental state. He repeatedly criticized her for using otopen during his presidency.
While the practice is routine in the White House, Trump claimed Biden’s reliance on the device showed he was out of control of his presidency. Biden has previously claimed that his aides made many decisions without his knowledge.
Before leaving the Oval Office, the former president issued a series of preemptive pardons for many family members and political figures.
The pardons served to protect people who openly opposed Trump and ensured that Biden’s closest family members would not face prosecution by the incoming administration. This action was taken in the final hours of Biden’s presidency and is considered a significant use of presidential power.
Biden declared amnesty for high-profile individuals such as General Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, and members of Congress who served on the committee investigating the January 6 Capitol attack.
These preemptive pardons were seen as a defensive measure against any punishment Trump might seek after his inauguration. Additionally, the former president pardoned his family members, including his brothers James and Frank, his sister Valerie, and their spouses.
