Don Cherry chatted with columnist Joe Warmington to clear a few things up after Grapes’ former TV sidekick’s recent interview.

Ron MacLean suggested that Cherry orchestrated the controversy that ensued from his “you people” and “milk and honey” comments about people not wearing Remembrance Day poppies to end his long reign on Hockey Night In Canada, describing it as a cunning and calculated “exit plan” to bow out thanks to health concerns.

Conor McGregor called out by rap star for sending her X-rated pics in DMs

Conor McGregor has recently been soliciting votes online for his run at the presidency of Ireland, but an unsolicited message to rap star Azealia Banks — in the form of X-rated pictures — could have him in some hot water, Dan Bilicki reported.

Or maybe not.

After the “212” hitmaker shared the content on X and called him out for his gross behaviour and threats, Bilicki’s follow-up story found that McGregor wasn’t fazed.

After his raunchy pics went public, the former UFC champion instead reposted several complimentary comments about his manhood, and even used one post to slam one of his Irish political rivals.

“Don’t let them distract you with my G C while they rob our country blind!” McGregor wrote in response to a supporter who shared a story about a presidential candidate’s alleged fraud.

Hmm, when will the next McGregor story be about his long-awaited return to his sport?

Ex-NHL enforcer breaks silence on viral golf course beatdown: ‘This might be a blast’

Nick Tarnasky, who became a viral sensation after adding some sound effects to his beatdown of a drunken instigator earlier this month, shared his side of the bonkers story from the wild scene.

Tarnasky, who played six NHL seasons with the Lightning and Panthers, appeared on a recent Spittin’ Chiclets podcast and broke down to host and fellow retired NHL tough guy Paul Bissonnette what led to the altercation, Bilicki reported.

And if you’ve seen the video, it’s pretty much what you expected — drunk guy talks smack, drunk guy gets taught a lesson.

As for the exclamation of “Bang!” that was added to every punch he landed, Tarnasky laughed it off.

“I’m fighting at a golf course … I just thought this might be a blast, have some fun with it.”

Cops identify elderly victim in fatal unprovoked North York plaza stabbing

A 71-year-old woman is dead and cops are hunting down the senior’s killer after the unprovoked stabbing Thursday morning in a North York plaza parking lot.

Police identified the victim as Shahnaz Pestonji of Toronto, who they believe was simply out grocery shopping when she returned to her vehicle and was attacked.

Police have released a series of images of the suspect, who is described as a Black male, approximately 5-foot-7 and wearing all dark clothing and a balaclava, and is armed with a sharp-edged weapon.

Pestonji marks the city’s 22nd homicide of the year.
