Top Farage aide hints Conservatives could merge with Reform UK post-election if Jenrick becomes Tory leader
One of Nigel Farage’s closest allies argued that Tories would unite with the reform UK after the next general election under the leadership of Robert Jenrick.
Gawain Towler, Mr. Jenrick, and a handful of Tora, who started to work for Mr. Farage in 2004 and lived on the reform board of directors, would leave the conservative party in favor of the reform.

He said: “Can I see that a post -election destruction resembles the post -apocalyptic view of the conservative party after the next general election in the 1890s, Jenrick’s similar to liberal unionists as a kind of Joe Chamberlain?
“I can’t see someone who wants to be the leader of a ass party like Robert Jenrick.”
The liberal trade unionists were a separate party that established an alliance with conservatives in the 1890s, and eventually combined in 1912.
“The reform is clearly looking far beyond Kemi Badenoch and already organizing a dangerous back room agreement with Robert Jenrick. If you vote, you will get the same old Tories that damages our country.”
Despite Mr. Towler’s words, a reform spokesman said, “Robert Jenrick reform will not join England.”
Mr. Towler also argued that the reform had adopted an open approach to the Torah defectors in Podcast and argued that the party should “win”.
After accepting a series of deputies and former ministers from the party, the surveys warned the reform to emerge in the risk of staining very closely with the conservative brand.
Danny Kruger, who directed Mr. Jenrick’s leadership campaign and served as Boris Johnson’s political secretary, became the first deputy to reform last month. He followed Nadine Dorries, one of the greatest supporters of Mr. Johnson, and declared the “Torah Party died”.
Mr. Towler said: “There is this feeling from us for a long time about what’s going on, why are we allowing all these bellows? They voted in the wrong, left, right and center. But there is also awareness.
“We must win. We must win. And we will not win from 40,000 members in the general elections in 2024.
“We currently have almost 250,000 members. We have exceeded 245,000 this week. Most of them will be Tories.”
