Tour de France 2025 results: Ben Healy wins stage six as Mathieu van der Poel regains overall lead

Ben Healy from Ireland produced a striking solo break to win the sixth stage of Tour de France, while Mathieu van der Poel regained the yellow jersey of the racing leader.
Healy and Van Der Poel spent most of the 201.5 km rugged scene in an eight -eight separation.
The EF Eğitim-DEMPOST driver later moved away to demand his first stage win at Tur, and he crossed the Tche Line in Vire Normydie almost three minutes before Quinn Simmons and Michael Storer.
Dutchman Van Der Poel came about four minutes after Healy, then in front of Peloton, Tadej Pogacar and Alpecin-DECİCİNinck rider yellow jersey had done enough to get back the yellow jersey from the reign.
Healy said he was targeting this rugged scene when he was announced several times last year, 27th at his first exit, and when the 24 -year -old route was announced.
“It was a real eye -open last year and made me really believed that I could do it,” he said.
“Really incredible and [down to] Strict work by many people for hours and hours. It is really great to pay them back today. “
