Tourist Bus Overturns In Kadapa, 10 Injured

Kadapa: Ten people were injured, three seriously, when a tourist bus overturned near Ambavaram junction in Jammalamadugu mandal of Kadapa district on Monday.
Reports said the bus’s steering malfunctioned, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle overturned on the roadside, causing panic among the passengers.
The bus was carrying nearly 40 tourists coming from Kodur Railway in Annamayya district for temple visits since Monday morning. They first visited Kanyateertham and proceeded towards Ranganayakula Kona in Mylavaram mandal when the accident occurred.
Local residents rushed the injured to the government hospital in Jammalamadugu. Those in critical condition were transferred to the state hospital in Proddatur.
The police launched an investigation into the incident.
Three months ago, 19 people lost their lives in the accident that occurred near Kurnool. In another incident that took place in Sirivella Metta in Nandyal district, 3 people lost their lives when a private bus hit a barrier and collided with a container truck. A bus went out of control near KIDCO housing complex in Kurnool district, but there was no casualty.
