Toy fair, trekking, musical night to mark World Heritage Day celebrations on April 18

As part of efforts to preserve the rich heritage of Andhra land, a series of special programs will be organized on April 18 to mark World Heritage Day, NTR District Collector G. Lakshmisha announced on Friday.

Addressing a press conference, the Collector said that the programs were jointly organized by the State Tourism Department, NTR District administration and the District Tourism Authority. Stating that the region hosts many iconic heritage sites such as Kanaka Durga Temple, Mogalarajapuram Caves, Akkanna Madanna Caves, Gandhi Hill and Kondapalli Fort, the official emphasized that these priceless cultural assets should be protected and transferred to future generations.
