Ghana Helicopter Crash: 8 Killed, Including Defence And Environment Ministers | World News

Eight people, including two services, a former minister and the National Security Advisor, died in a helicopter accident in Ghana. At a press conference, the Chief of General Staff Julius Debb, Defense Minister Edward Oman Boamah and Environment, Science and Technology Minister Ibrahim Murdala Muhammad confirmed that the incident was among those killed.
Among those who died, Ghana’s National Security Coordinator and former Minister of Agriculture Alhaji Muniru Moniru Mohammed, and Samuel Sarpong, the vice president of the ruling National Democratic Congress Party, Samuel Sarpong.

The aircraft got up from the capital Accra in the local time and was going to Obuasi City for a national event. Soon after the Ghana Armed Forces, three crew members and five passengers, the plane, said that the aircraft disappeared from the radar.
