Transgender doctor’s complaint that she felt ‘threatened’ by much smaller nurse in female changing room row was ‘plausible’, senior medic says

A transsexual doctor complained that a court was threatened by a ‘much smaller’ nurse in the locker rooms for women in the Victoria Hospital in Fife, Kirkcaldy.

In an ongoing legal procedure between trangsal Medic Dr Beth Upton and nurse Sandie Peggie, a senior doctor said that Dr Upton could feel threatened.

Dr. Elspeth Pitt, an emergency medical advisor at NHS Fife, said that after a conflict with Dr Upton’s Mrs. Peggie, the court said.

He added that his doctor, who was born as a man but as a woman, was really sad, he feels very scared and that he felt that he was stuck in the corner at that time.

After the incident, Dr Pitt chaped Dress in his car in case of another encounter with the nurse and described the doctor as ‘quite threatened’.

The sequence between Mrs. Peggie and Dr Upton is centered around the trans doctor using a locker room for only women who accuse the Fife Health Board of violating the Equality Law.

In court, Dr Upton’s proposal that he felt that he was threatened by his much smaller colleague Charlotte Elves, Peggie’s young adviser Charlotte Elfler said Dr Upon was a ‘biological male in his 20s’ 6FT length.

In contrast, Mrs Peggie described Ms. Peggie as a woman in her 50s, much smaller ‘and opposed Dr Pitt’s proposal that Dr Upton felt insecure by Sandie Peggie and called’ completely unreasonable ‘.

Dr Pitt insisted that ‘when it didn’t seem unreasonable’, but Trans Medic was not ‘physically threatened’, but Ms. Peggie’s’ verbal attack ‘was scared by’.

The court also heard that Dr Upton was thinking of reporting the police as a ‘hate crime’ and heard from Charge Nurse Louise Curran. Telegraph reported.

The queue between Mrs. Peggie and Dr Upton focuses on an event in which the Christmas is in 2023, where the nurse had a sudden and heavy period and feared that she was afraid of passing into its brushes.

The nurse entered the woman’s locker room and was surprised to find Dr Upon there.

This was the last of the three incidents in the locker room in the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, an employment court in Dundee, earlier this year.

The doctor challenged the presence of a woman in the area labeled as a locker room, and only hours later a bullying complaint was made by him.

Ms. Peggie was dismissed at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on January 3, 2024, Dr. Upton was heard earlier this year after making a claim of bullying and harassment.

Against the complaint, nurse For sexual harassment, belief discrimination and victimization, NHS fife and Dr Upton made an official request to the employment court in May last year.

Dr Elspeth Pitt (in the picture), a consultant in the emergency medicine in NHS Fife, told the court that Dr Upton was ‘hiccups’ after a confrontation with Ms. Peggie.

Ms. Peggie complained that she had to share an area of one gender with someone she believed to be a man.

He also complained that he was victimized because he had a critical belief in gender that biological gender was invariable.

During the complaint, Dr. The Upton has not received a gender recognition certificate, which means technically the doctor is legally male.

Dr Pitt told the court that Dr Upton found Dr Upton in the case of ‘visible boredom’ in a corridor at midnight shortly after the ‘unpleasant and painful’ dressing room confrontation.

Dr Pitt said he felt the doctor was a corner and could not escape Ms. Peggie.

He told the court: ‘O [Dr Upton] He said he felt as if he was stuck in the corner and that he felt that the end of a shift was not a good time to make this conversation, but he climbed and felt he could not escape. He was very upset about what was told to him. ‘

Dr Pitt said that Mrs Peggie complained that Trans Medic should not be in the locker room ‘and that he attacked two women in 2016 and 2019, but now describing as a woman, he referred to Isla Bryson, who was in parallel with the’ convicted rape ‘.

Dr Pitt described DR Upton as a ‘hiccup’ after the encounter, and then he believed that he believes that Trans Medic would feel insecure by Ms. Peggie.

He said: ‘There is no question to me, he said he felt very threatened after meeting Dr Upton in that hallway.

And just to be open, it was an oral attack. He wasn’t physically threatened. He felt scared because of the things he was told. ‘

After taking him to his car, Dr Pitt, Medic’s line manager Dr. Kate Searle and Ms. Peggie sent an e -mail to the line manager who wanted to talk the next week.

Mrs. Elfler sent DR Searle to about 20 senior advisors, whom he said on December 29, 2023 to Dr Upton.

Dr Searle said Dr Upton said that we all knew that we all support him and that we condemned Sandie’s actions’.

Mrs. Elfler asked Dr Pitt if he was engaged in three E -Post chain about the incident.

Dr Pitt, ‘E -I do not use the mail as a way of speaking,’ he said.

In a statement, the Medical Board said: ‘NHS Fife did not start the court proceedings and instead one of two’ participants’.

‘NHS FIFE cannot stop the transactions unilaterally – the plaintiff can only choose to withdraw the case. The plaintiff said he was determined to continue his legal claim because he had the right to do in a recent statement from his legal representatives. ‘

In a striking development of this week, Mrs Peggie was cleaned from a heavy abuse by the NHS Fife disciplinary hearing as part of the separate operations against him.
