Alice Liveing reveals she was rushed to hospital with unusual bleeding just weeks after giving birth

Alice Living revealed that she was hospitalized for unusual bleeding a few weeks after giving birth.
The 32-year-old fitness influencer welcomed a daughter, Jeannie, with husband Patrick Murphy last month and admitted the birth of her baby was ‘crazy’ and ‘unexpected’.
But on Instagram on Friday, Alice shared a photo of a hospital bed, revealing that she had undergone a scan after experiencing post-natal symptoms.
Alice said she noticed unusual postpartum bleeding last week and went to see her doctor.
She was then sent for a scan where it was detected that there were ‘retained products’, i.e. the presence of placental or fetal tissue remaining in the uterus.
Alice wrote: ‘This isn’t the news I wanted today, but I’d like to share it in case it’s helpful or gets someone else checked out.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Alice shared a photo of a hospital bed, revealing that she had undergone a scan after experiencing postpartum symptoms.
‘I had some unusual postpartum bleeding over the last week and saw my doctor for a scan. It turns out I have some ‘retained items’ and now I’m waiting for the action plan to deal with it.
‘It’s those ‘little things’ that you always try to write off as normal after having a baby and are worth checking out.
‘Unfortunately I’m outside the 28 day window to receive triage care from hospital so I need to see the GP but I’m glad I did and will keep you posted on next steps for anyone who may have similar experiences.’
On the next slide, Alice shared a snippet of Google’s AI results detailing what abnormal postpartum bleeding might look like and when to seek medical attention.
She added: ‘Mine was mainly the color of my bleeding. ‘It was a bright, bright red color with large clots (sorry TMI) from about 25 days postpartum.’
When Alice asked her fans what they wanted to see from her, she said she hoped to return to work soon, sharing videos following her birth and health issues.
‘I really want to start producing content again and get back into my workflow,’ he said.
‘I’ve needed to take this time to really survive the last few weeks, but now I’d love to focus on taking some baby steps towards bringing some business back.’

The fitness influencer gave birth to a daughter, Jeannie, with husband Patrick Murphy last month and admitted her daughter’s birth was ‘crazy’ and ‘unexpected’.
Earlier this month, Alice shared a candid perspective on her life as a new mother and admitted she was struggling to leave home three weeks after welcoming her first child.
In a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, Alice admitted she ‘never fully understood or appreciated’ the challenges of raising a newborn and struggled to find time to get out and about.
The social media star added that ‘exercising didn’t even cross her mind’ because she ‘didn’t even have a second’ between caring for her daughter.
She explained: ‘I’ll tell you something that I never appreciated before having a baby, and that’s people who say, ‘I literally haven’t even brushed my teeth and it’s one o’clock,’ or people who say, ‘I haven’t left the house and it’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon.’
‘And I never quite understood or appreciated that this was the reality of having a little baby – and I always thought I’d be the one to say, ‘You know how hard this can be.’
‘It’s like I had the best intentions, like, ‘I’m going to go for a walk every morning, I’m going to go outside, I’m going to get out into the sunshine,’ and obviously that’s a lot harder.
‘For example, today Jeannie is feeding occasionally. He slept really well this morning but then I needed to shower and get dressed so I managed to do that.
Alice shared the happy news that she ‘unexpectedly’ gave birth to a baby girl last month, alongside lots of adorable photos of the baby girl.
Alice also shared a post sharing some of the challenges she faced while ‘single parenting’ after her husband Patrick returned to work following paternity leave.
‘Then I said: ‘I’ll feed him and put him in the pram, great.’ She literally closed her eyes and then started screaming, grabbed it and then vomited all over me, in my hair, in front of me.
‘And of course if you’ve got another set of hands that’s great because when Paddy was here for two weeks on paternity leave it was fine because I’d say ‘Oh, can you take that, I’ll go and do this, then I’ll take that and you go and do that’.
‘But I can’t do this when I’m alone. My intention was to leave the house at noon. I mean to go for a walk at lunchtime and get some fresh air, but it’s not going to happen.
‘He vomited on me so I had to change him again and put him in a completely new outfit, I had to wash myself then we went back to feeding because he was hungry again.
‘I get that, I totally get it and I appreciate it, I totally appreciate it when people say how hard it is to even fit in a 10-minute workout.
‘I haven’t even thought about exercising and I’m coming up to three weeks postpartum. ‘It didn’t even cross my mind because I didn’t even have a second.’
