Pelosi accused of timing Swalwell’s fall to clear governor’s race

The most surprising, but certainly most disgusting, thing about California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwall’s revelations about sexual impropriety was that this man somehow thought he could run for governor despite the horrific allegations he had in mind.
The obvious answer to why the TikTok video-maker thought the congressman could pull this off was because he believed the Democratic Party and its media allies would protect him. Frankly, he was right about that, until he wasn’t.

The truth is that Salwell’s mistreatment of women remained an open secret in the D.C. swamp for over a decade. And this is nothing new: Today, we read with shock about the widely unreported sexual antics of men like Ted Kennedy in the 1980s, but that was before the #MeToo movement.
These days, we assume that the media and political parties will intervene in known allegations of sexual abuse. Maybe if Swalwell had the letter R after his name this would have happened, but it didn’t happen.

While his friends are jumping like rats from the sinking USS Swalwell, it’s worth considering how many other powerful Democrats have skeletons like him in the closet and that the party’s shady leadership could call upon to destroy them at a moment’s notice.
It is clear as the summer sun that the timing of Swalwell’s fall from grace is no coincidence. He was leading in the polls for the party’s nomination for governor, and Democrats clearly knew he could lose if he faced a GOP nominee in the general election.
Just like Sleepy Joe Biden, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi donned her black hooded robe and used her political sickle to call for the death of her former advisor Swalwell and tell him to step down.

Just like Biden, who clearly understands his mental breakdown to anyone paying attention, Pelosi and her party act shocked, only shocked, to learn of Swalwell’s illegal and criminal pastimes.
But let’s not fool ourselves. When Captain Renoult learned of the gambling going on at Rick’s Cafe, he was more surprised than Pelosi was by Swalwell’s violent libido.
We have long known that the Democratic Party does not allow outsiders to win major races. Just ask Bernie Sanders, who was stabbed by the establishment in both his 2016 and 2020 presidential nominating campaigns. But Swalwell is no stranger.

I believe in these women and think Swalwell is a creep, but why didn’t they come forward when he was running for president (remember this)? This was obviously done to clear the field and prevent the freak accident that saw Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco exit the jungle primary, leaving only two Republicans on the general election ballot.
It’s starting to look like the Democrats have something they can flip a switch on everyone and get rid of whenever they need it.
This is even true of historical figures at this point. Take legendary labor rights icon Caesar Chavez, who was revoked almost as quickly as Swalwell when Republicans began pointing out that Chavez hated illegal immigration.

The liberal leadership once again activated the ejection seat, and Chavez suddenly went from hero to having his name wiped from buildings.
Admiring pundits have long praised Pelosi’s ability to lead her caucus, but now we have to wonder how much of that coercive power is essentially a promise of secrecy.
President Donald Trump is often annoyed by the fact that controlling Republicans is like herding cats while Democrats always stand together. But what if the real factor is social fear of scandals being exposed?

One thing’s for sure, there are a lot of nervous Democrats on Capitol Hill this week, especially now that gossip network TMZ has opened a D.C. office, its spies now lurking from the Capital Grille to Butterworth’s looking for unscrupulous lawmakers.

No one knows what other shoes might drop here, but Swalwell’s close friend, Sen. Ruben Gallego, looked like a teenager caught shoplifting at Walmart when he confronted reporters Tuesday.

Apparently the senator had heard rumors that his best friend was “flirting” but nothing more, and if you believe that then I’ve got a roller coaster in California to sell you on.
A famous radio drama of the 1930s had the tagline: “Who knows what evil lurks in people’s hearts? The shadow knows!” It’s not the Shadow that elected Democrats should be worried about. It is the party that knows this, and it is the party that can end their careers the way they did.
