Police renew search for WA prospector after vehicle found abandoned

The police restarted an active search for a 73 -year -old researcher who disappeared in the wheat of the West Australia, following new information about nine months ago.
Barry Podmore was last seen on December 4, 2024 at Karroun Hill, about 400 kilometers northeast of Perth, which was believed to be a golden candidate.
The last known theme was a telephone conversation on December 5th before leaving the house in Beacon at Mercedes Benz 4wd in 1981 Mercedes Benz 4wd on 6 December.
In May this year, the police left Mr. Podmore’s vehicle near Jackson Mountain, but comprehensive searches could not find his trace.
Authorities describe him as the Caucasus with short gray hair and hazelnut eyes, about 170 cm tall.
This week, the police, Paynes Find and Southern Cross walking in the area of land operations on foot Southern Cross, Narbeken and Bencubbin stations with civil servants renewed confirming the continuation of the search.
A Facebook post of Bencubbin police thanked for the ongoing support for the participants of the call and the local community.
“The search is part of the ongoing efforts to find the lost researcher Mr. Barry Podmore in December 2024,” he said.

A $ 500,000 prize was offered for information that led to its position.
