Tributes flow for Gold Coast developer after death at 39; Giant Qld stick insect ‘Australia’s heaviest’

Gold Coast Property Developer Tye Alroe suddenly died at the age of 39.

The founder and general manager of Alroe Constructions had a heart attack while exercising in Burleight Heads Gymnasium in the afternoon.

After feeling well, he collapsed and the emergency room workers could not revive him.

Alroe initially began a contractual career in the Rugby league by Melbourne Storm, the NRL side, but left before making its first release, and instead of the construction industry.

Alroe survived by his partner Nikki, daughter Poppy, his mother and father Vickki and John and his sister Courtney.
