Trinamool Congress member killed in West Bengal

A Trinamool Congress member from Bharatpur in Western Bengal was killed on Wednesday night. Police said a group of attackers attacked Sashi Ghosh with sharp weapons on his way home.
The deceased Trinamool Congress member family members said that there was a disagreement with others on financial matters in the village and that Mr. Ghosh was threatened in the past.
Mla Humayun Kabir, the Trinamool Congress representing Bharatpur, said that the people behind the murder were the supporters of Trinamool Congress. MLA added that the personal hostility between the two groups in the village resulted in the murder and that the party wanted the criminals to be identified and arrested.
Another murder
In another murder, it was claimed that a Panchayat member’s nephew was killed in Madhususudanpur in the Kakdwip region in the South 24 Parganas region on Wednesday. The deceased was described as the rival sheikh, the nephew of Salauddin Sheikh, a member of the Panchayat member of the Trinamool Congress.
The opposition parties in the state criticized the Trinamool Congress on the status of law and order. Former Congress Deputy and Senior Party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdury said Trinamool Congress members fought among themselves for limited resources.
Senior BJP leader Dilip Ghosh claimed that “Trinamool Congress and leaders in Western Bengal have reached a stage that they have fought for grass control and earn bad money from crime trade unions”.
At the beginning of this month, three trinamool congress leaders were killed in four days in a suspicious part of the party. Puussh Ghosh, the regional president of the Trinamool Congress in Sainthia, was killed in the early hours of July 13, and Trinamol Congress members Razzak Khan and Avul Kalam Azad were killed in Malda, respectively in Malda, respectively, most of the arrests, South 24 Parganas and British Bhangar.
