Trump, 79, Stuns With Inability to Flip a Coin: ‘Worst in History’

Is there nothing he can’t do? President Donald Trump stunned viewers of the 126th Army-Navy football game with his unique approach to the coin toss.

While officiating the customary coin toss at the historic football game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, Trump showed off a strange lifting motion that resulted in almost no coin toss.

The President took the money with his left hand and placed it in the open palm of his right hand, throwing the money forward and sending it in a weak, absent-minded arc. He helpfully showed me where the coin landed after it hit the ground.

Viewers immediately expressed surprise at this pioneering method of making decisions based on money.

“Donald Trump may have pulled off the worst coin toss in history,” former independent congressional candidate Hal Stewart wrote. “This money goes to the hall of shame!”

“President Trump is flipping an unprecedented coin that doesn’t seem to flip at all,” author and radio host Clay Travis wrote.

“Donald Trump is turning money like violets,” added political commentator Ed Krassenstein.

But with Trump taking shape in this area, shock and surprise may be misplaced. In fact, as he has shown before, the president seems to believe that’s exactly how the coins are flipped.

In 2018, Trump showed off his signature style at that year’s Army-Navy Game, drawing strong backlash from then-MSNBC host Chris Hayes.

“Why is everything about this president so weird and strange?” Hayes asked. “Tossing a coin is no great feat in athletics.”

“To flip a coin, you just have to flip the coin. Use your thumb, toss the coin in the air, give it a good spin, let it fall to the ground, see if it’s heads or tails.”

All in One The host described Trump’s efforts as how you can release a baby bird into the air.

The Knights of the Dark Army called the money correctly in their play script on Saturday. However, this did not help them win as the Navy Sailors defeated them in a close game 17-16.
