Trump aide promises no refugee spillover from Iran conflict in US

The Trump administration will not allow refugees to spread into the United States as the conflict in Iran escalates, White House Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller said Wednesday.
“There will be no refugee problem for the United States; that is a promise and a guarantee…” Speaking to The Ingraham Angle, Miller compared the situation to the Biden administration’s approach to Afghan refugees.

“They didn’t magically arrive in the United States,” Miller continued. “We flew them here. Refugees are coming to the United States because they flew.”
“You also have illegal immigrants, and they [the] The southern border of the United States is closed. “So no one will be crossing the border illegally and no refugees will be flying to the United States, so no one will be able to get in.”
Miller also touched on reports that Russia is providing Iran with intelligence that could help the Islamic regime identify U.S. military assets in the Middle East, and told “The Ingraham Angle” that the Trump administration expected that intervention.
“Of course, we expected that Iran would try to reach out to anyone it thought could help it,” he said.

“But ultimately our capabilities are far beyond anyone else’s in the world. “Like we saw with Midnight Hammer, like we saw with Absolute Resolve, and now with Epic Fury,” Miller said.
Iran and Russia have consistently had a “very good partnership,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Araghchi also acknowledged that Russia was helping Iran “in many different directions,” but added, “I don’t have detailed information.”
According to intelligence assessments, Russia provided Iran with information that could help locate American warships, aircraft and other military assets.
