Trump aide promises no refugee spillover from Iran conflict in US

The Trump administration will not allow refugees to spread into the United States as the conflict in Iran escalates, White House Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller said Wednesday.

“There will be no refugee problem for the United States; that is a promise and a guarantee…” Speaking to The Ingraham Angle, Miller compared the situation to the Biden administration’s approach to Afghan refugees.

“They didn’t magically arrive in the United States,” Miller continued. “We flew them here. Refugees are coming to the United States because they flew.”

Miller also touched on reports that Russia is providing Iran with intelligence that could help the Islamic regime identify U.S. military assets in the Middle East, and told “The Ingraham Angle” that the Trump administration expected that intervention.

“Of course, we expected that Iran would try to reach out to anyone it thought could help it,” he said.
