Trump ally Marco Rubio hits out at Starmer’s ‘clumsy’ pledge to recognise Palestinian statehood

Marco Rubio attacked Sir Keir Starmer and described the prime minister as “incompetent üzerine on his plan to recognize a Palestinian state in September.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said an angry response, saying that the decision “Hamas rewarded terrible terrorism and punishes his victims”.
Sir Keir’s statement was covered with confusion about whether Hamas released all the hostages in Gaza to recognize the Palestinian state, and the ministers could not say that the movement was free.
