Trump Announces US-Pakistan Oil Deal, Suggests India Sales Amidst New Tariffs, BRICS Criticism | India News

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump introduced a new energy agreement with Pakistan, saying that the United States would help the South Asian country to develop “large” oil reserves. In a remarkable statement, he implied that Pakistan could potentially sell oil to India.
The news came out of a post in Truth Social, President Trump’s social media site, and came to India a 25% tariff and a fine for the new Delhi, which continues to receive energy from Russia.
“We made an agreement with the Pakistan country where Pakistan and the United States will come together to improve the enormous oil reserves of Pakistan and the United States.” He continued: “We are in the process of choosing the oil company that will chair this partnership. Maybe one day they will sell oil to India!”

Intensive day in the White House
In the same long article, President Trump summarized a “very busy” day dedicated to trade agreements at the White House. They all said that he talked to leaders from many countries who want to make “extremely happy” by offering tariff discounts.
“I will see the South Korean trade delegation in the afternoon. South Korea is currently on a 25% tariff, but there is an offer to buy these tariffs. A complete report on these events will be made “at the appropriate time”.
Negotiations with India continue in the midst of the BRICS Criticism
Hours after setting new tariffs in India, President Trump announced that trade talks with the new Delhi continued and the clarity of the “End of this week” was expected.
In addition, he was seriously discontent with the membership of India’s 11 developing economies to the BRICS group, and was called a group of basically a group of countries that were basically the United States.
“This is an attack on the dollar and we will not allow anyone to attack the dollar. So partly BRICS and partly trade,” Trump said when he was investigated by a journalist based on tariffs. This shows that India’s geopolitical harmony, especially energy relationship with Russia and BRICS membership are important factors affecting the US trade stance.
